Hi, everyone! I know the syllabus says to focus on Geography and History this term, but lately I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed and I'm not sure how to find time for it all. Thankfully my friends at Knovel put together some webinars about how to study for your classes. I've gone through them twice now, and I want to share them with you guys on the blog, too! 1. How Long Will I Need to Study? This first webinar talks about how long it takes to study for Geography, History, and Classics. They talk about some of the different ways you can cram it all in (from the library, reviewing lectures after class, using flashcards) but also how some students need to spend more time on some subjects than others (like History or Geography). And if you're like me, this will help you decide whether or not each class is worth your energy! 2. How to Study for Classes You Hate? This second webinar is all about how to study for history and geography. I think we can all relate to hating at least one subject in school! And while you're definitely going to need to study, it doesn't mean that you can't also make studying fun. This webinar shows you how you can get the most out of the least amount of time and effort if you use good study habits. 3. How To Follow Lectures While Studying This last webinar goes over the best way to follow along during lectures while also reviewing your notes and reading/answering questions from your books (which should probably be open on a laptop or tablet). The presenter also talks about the best apps to use during lectures. I tend to get distracted when I study, so I like to have one of these apps on my phone or tablet so that I can follow along with the lecturer while still answering questions in the margins of my book.I hope these webinars help you guys out! Don't forget to check back in two weeks so you can download some free flashcards for Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, etc. Also, don't forget to keep an eye out for my free study guides for Philosophy of Science, Real-Life Ethics & Justice, and Real-Life Economics! ALSO! If you're looking for some help with your exam prep, you can sign up for my weekly email here. Have a great week!
